Muddy Paws in the Guild strives to support our community with the highest quality products for your pets. We take great pride in supporting small businesses that produce great products, not just here in Canada, but around the globe. Quality, safe manufacturing processes and customer service are our priority. Here are some of the brands we work with and their country of origin.
Canada
Horizon Pet Foods, that makes the Legacy and Pulsar lines we carry, is based in Saskatchewan. They take pride in sourcing all of their ingredients within 500 kilometers of their manufacturing plant. Artisan Farms in Chatsworth Ontario supplies Muddy Paws with hickory smoked bones, beef sausages and smoked pigs ears. The whole store smells like hickory smoke meat when their delivery arrives!
J Walker harnesses, leashes & accessories are made in Ottawa, and are the number one recommended harness system for aggressive pullers. Oven Baked Tradition Pet Food and Treats is based in Quebec, and is a recently returned best seller to Muddy Paws.
RC Pet Products & Silverfoot Activewear (Vancouver & Squamish BC) provides Muddy Paws with a massive assortment of premium quality leashes, collars, harnesses, apparel and accessories for all sizes, from Chihuahua to Great Dane! CONGO RAW are the makers of premium frozen raw food from Newmarket Ontario and North Fin Premium Fish Food is made in Toronto.
New Zealand
From the great country of New Zealand, Muddy Paws is proud to source K9 & Feline Natural. They provide high quality wet food, freeze dried food and treats for cats and dogs.
Absolute Holistic Pet Food & Treats is also based there, where they intensely research the process of taking high quality fish, poultry and red meat to air dried or freeze dried form.
Italy
At Muddy Paws, one of our most popular high quality dry food lines comes is Natural & Delicious from Farmina Pet Food. This food designed by Italian veterinarians looking to improve the average pet's diet is a renowned five-star food made with a special vacuum coater system to ensure a higher vitamin content. Recently, Farmina opened a new facility for canned food production plant in Serbia, where they provide the same high quality care and ingredients to give an amazingly palatable wet food.
All of our cat pawrents (and some of our dog pawrents) are familiar with the cat favourites, Schesir Cat Food & VBB Healthy Meat, which are also made in Italy. Something about the Italian way, the pets just go crazy for these wet foods!
Germany
Some recent additions to the Muddy Paws line up are sourced in Germany. Treat Worx Dental Bones are excellent soy, wheat & gluten free treats for pets with bad breath and plaque build up.
Our feline friends go mad for KitKat Goat Milk too! Available in shredded meats, straight goat milk, or concentrated purees, their alluring aroma are enough to make even the pickiest cat try a bite.
Other European Regions
Belgium is home to Versa Larga, our exclusive supplier of quality small animal food, bedding and bird products. There is something to comfort every type of bird and furry friend! Icelandic+ Fish Treats provide the ethical and traceable snacks for your pet exclusively sourced right in Iceland.
